Rising Scholars is a developing program dedicated to providing reading and math support to students in the Van Dyke Public School District. Through this program, we're developing a team of dedicated volunteers who will partner directly with Lincoln Elementary School beginning in the fall of 2026, bringing hands-on academic support into classrooms where it's needed most.

Our relationship with Lincoln Elementary actually began well before this program's launch. Our neighborhood outreach coordinator has already been mentoring a group of fourth and fifth grade students, building trusted relationships and offering encouragement along the way. We've also shown up for the Lincoln Elementary staff — supporting and celebrating teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week, providing lunch during the holiday season, and volunteering at the school's Field Day.

Rising Scholars builds on that foundation, expanding our commitment into the classroom with a consistent, caring volunteer team focused on helping students grow in reading and math. We believe every student deserves champions in their corner, and we're excited to invest in the next generation of Lincoln Elementary scholars.
